|It’s about 9 days left until we embark on a 3 month trek that includes a couple of tours and the long awaited recording process of our latest album at The Machine Shop with Will Putney.
Since our last show(Cali Metal Fest) we have a whole lot that needs to be done.
By day, we are finishing up a couple of rewrites of some songs as well as adding on top of or expanding parts. This has been a vicious cycle for the past 3 months which is possibly creating a stir crazy feel around this album and yet, we haven’t even stepped foot into the studio. However, being perfectionist we cannot help but pick apart everything so fuck it, right?
In addition to the polishing, we are taking care of other things such as getting the latest van painted/tinted and overall all decked out inside. Anyone that has seen our previous van know how we like to make it habitable to live in.
By night, we are shacked up for the remaining days at The Alamo rehearsal studio here in Las Vegas. The owner, Kirk, was nice enough to give us his personal studio to practice in which was amazing so we definitely owe him a huge thanks for that; otherwise I’m not sure if we would have been able to pull off performing a few new songs on this next tour (The Sanitation of Humanity).
This is literally the process of which we are living by with the occasional going out and getting our club dancing on(seriously) and picking on our new drummer Jake Durrett.
