Greetings and salutations to all the fine folks out there.  Thanks for stopping by, even if only to make our CTR skyrocket.  As being the “new” kid on the block, I’m thinking of going in a decidedly different direction than some of my counterparts. For my first venture, I figured everyone could use a few chuckles. Sure 2010 is here and it’s a new year/decade, but the music industry is still reeling, the economy is still in the shitter and pretty soon Mike Gitter will be here to perpetually annoy the hell out of me (<3 you dude). Therefore, I've collected a couple of hilariously awesome videos for your perusal. There's nothing like a good laugh to start off the weekend, so I figured I would help you out. I'll post something along these lines every Friday, along with other rantings and ravings throughout the week. Enjoy!

5 Second Films – “Don’t Thinko De Mayo”
I mean, seriously, does anyone know the real reason why Cinco de Drinko Mayo is celebrated? This accurate portrayal of many a college night/day/weekend/holiday/week is not only eerily familiar, but the random, curt way that 5 Second Films is able to capture it is utterly hilarious.

OneMinuteGalactica – “Longest Crash Ever”
Being the uber nerd, metal head that I am, Star Wars holds a special place in my heart. Yes, even the prequels. Come on, bad ass light saber battles are great anywhere. And the special effects were way better, and… okay back on track. Either way, user OneMinuteGalactica knows what’s up. This and many other vids that he has created/uploaded are amazing twists on classic scenes from these great movies.

Big Chocalt3 – “Svotision (Official Video)”
Give it up for Big Chocolate. When Cam’s not carefully crafting the riffs and orchestrated chaos that is Disfiguring The Goddess or laying down some sick DnB beats, he passes the time with random videos and music. Fake German? Probably. Incredible? You bet your sweet ass.

Metal Injection – “Metal Spring Break Gone Crazy”
This classic video was filmed before my very eyes at the 2009 New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, however I wasn’t sure what the finished product would entail. Survey says: brilliant! Starring the lovable kids in Iwrestledabearonce and given to us by the fine folks over at Metal Injection, “Metal Spring Break Gone Crazy” is just one of those perfect concepts that melds two worlds into one, awesomely unique package. Add the Grateful Dead concert across the street and a plethora of hippies to the mix, and the result is magical.
